Gyles set to host awards
Golden Charter has revealed that Gyles Brandreth will host this year’s Funeral Planner of the Year Awards ceremony, which takes place on Saturday, September 21.
The charismatic writer, broadcaster, actor and former MP, who is currently starring in Celebrity Gogglebox, will bring his quick wit to the event which sees independent funeral directors from throughout the UK gather to celebrate the profession.
The ceremony is returning to the capital for an evening of fine food and entertainment at the Royal Lancaster London.
The hotel overlooks Hyde Park, and is just a stone’s throw from Lancaster Gate and only a few minutes’ walk from Paddington railway station.
