Golden Charter’s Funeral Planner of the Year Awards are fast approaching, and all Independents are invited to join for what is shaping up to be a fabulous evening. This year’s event will truly be one of a kind, with the awards being hosted north of the border for the first time in many years.
Taking place on Saturday 15 September at the spectacular National Museum of Scotland, independent funeral directors will be joined by legendary Scottish broadcaster Ken Bruce, commonly known as the master of pop, who will host the evening. Dinner will be composed of the finest Scottish produce, and guests may even be invited to take part in a little traditional ceilidh dancing – kilts optional!
This year’s ceremony brings with it the opportunity to visit the historic city of Edinburgh, and you are encouraged to bring your families and staff along to make it a weekend trip. Golden Charter is in the process of arranging dedicated excursions for you and your guests in and around the city and has negotiated special rates with a number of quality hotels for the Friday and Saturday night, including the Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh, the Radisson Collection Hotel on the Royal Mile and the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton.
