Bright future as Colourful Coffins launches Sparkle site
Colourful Coffins’ exclusive range of personalised crystal picture coffins is going solo, with its very own website.
Designed for funeral directors, it showcases a range of new Sparkle It designs for coffins, caskets and accessories and is full of useful information to help families understand the design process.
Colourful Coffins’ Mary Tomes said: “Following the launch of our Sparkle designs, demand has grown to the extent that we felt the Sparkle brand deserved a website of its own.
“When we started adding crystals to our designs it was often just to highlight names or small parts of the images, such as the centre of a rose. Now Sparkle has really captured the imagination and we have designed beautiful Sparkle caskets and coffins for everyone from young children to glamorous grandmothers.”
Each of the crystals is painstakingly applied by hand and many designs also include a signature shimmer finish. The new website showcases designs such as Crystal Butterfly Ribbons – featuring pink and purple crystal encrusted butterflies; and Cute Shoes, with bright red shoes covered in crystals on a bright red shimmer background. Handles can be sprayed to match and highlighted with crystals.
Sparkle is available on all Colourful Coffins products, including American caskets and cardboard coffins; and the team can now Sparkle its unique printed coffin interiors, enabling families to choose a special design for the inside, as well as the outside, of the coffin.
Mary added: “A crystal heart on a cushion is very popular, it is simple but beautiful, and we can also completely personalise the whole interior, which is so much nicer than just choosing a plain pink, blue or white.
“Families often see the coffin as a final gift, we’re giving them real choice and the feedback we’re getting is just amazing.”
Colourful Coffins’ commitment to its funeral director audience means no prices are shown online and Mary says because the product is so unique, she will be happy to talk to funeral directors individually about the likely costs for their local area.
