A night to remember
This year’s Funeral Planner of the Year Awards will return to the capital for an evening of celebration at the luxurious Royal Lancaster London.
On 21 September, host Gyles Brandreth will welcome more than 400 guests from the UK and Ireland, who will come together to celebrate the achievements of independent funeral directors over the past year, in funeral planning and beyond.
Gyles is a great fit for the role of host, not least because of his background as a writer, TV broadcaster, actor, former MP and Lord Commissioner of the Treasury, but also because his grandparents belonged to the Kenyon family, giving him a life-long connection to the funeral business.
All of the nominees are available in the special pull-out in the centre of this month’s print magazine. In addition to the highly competitive regional and national awards, this year’s ceremony will include new categories highlighting excellence in areas such as entrepreneurship, environmentalism, education and innovation.
Best of luck – and don’t miss next month’s SAIFInsight to see pics of all of the action!
