The Independent Funeral Director Business Awards 2021
Golden Charter’s celebration of the independent funeral profession is back this year under a new name: The Independent Funeral Director Business Awards will recognise achievements in funeral planning, and your work far beyond pre-need.
Given the unprecedented pressures across the industry, rather than being sales based, this year’s awards will celebrate the work of Independents across community engagement, customer service, digital innovation, employee engagement and environmental responsibility. There will also be recognition for customer service and your staff with the Employee of the Year awards.
The Event
Even as vaccines offer a route back to mass events, we know that funeral directors are still at the forefront of the pandemic and for many of you, your workload remains significant. When you are able to take any well-deserved time away from your business, we are conscious that family and friends will be the priority. As a result, we will bring this year’s event to you as a free, online celebration at 6pm on Thursday 2 September.
